For over a century, non-renewable energy sources from fossil fuels have produced most of Alberta’s energy. Renewable energy sources are increasingly being utilized to diversify Alberta’s energy supply. As solar and wind energy projects increase in Alberta, new economic and employment opportunities are being created.
